This page once contained information about a new new zealand flag. The new nzflag designed by Clint Woolly has been redirected to a new page. The existing New Zealand Flag is an outdated tribute to a now defunct colonial empire. The old New Zealand flag also solely reflects the histories of the European settlers of Aotearoa New Zealand and not to that of the Tangata Whenua, the original surviving settlers, the Maori. The existing Flag of New Zealand also does not pay hommage to the more recently arrived immigrants of asian descent, of middle eastern descent of immigrants from all over the world, embracing them in the New Zealand of today! And of the future. My flag concept "Our Flag" not only pays tribute to the existing New Zealand Flag, but also to our Maori heritage and everyone that call's Aotearoa New Zealand home, their heritage. We are united as one people under one flag, "Our Flag"!
